Learn, Collaborate, and Create:

New Middle School Makerspace

Makerspace

CEF is leading an initiative establishing a brand-new, dedicated Makerspace within our school, coupled with the launch of an innovative afterschool program designed for middle school students. This new facility will be a hub for hands-on exploration, equipped to support student creativity across a range of industrial technologies like woodworking, engineering, metal smithing, electronics/robotics, and sewing. The cornerstone activity will be the CEF Maker Space Afterschool Program, a unique, choice-based experience putting student interests first. Guided by a Teacher Facilitator and learning specialized techniques from expert Guest Teachers, participants will develop practical skills, enabling them to envision, design, and build projects they are passionate about while cultivating crucial STEAM habits of mind. Prepare to learn, collaborate, and create in this dynamic new environment!
